Chocolate Brownies

It has been indeed a long couple of weeks, which have yet to come to an end!

All I can say to justify my baking this time round is not so much my favourite procrastibaking activity but rather… 10440825_883561761662282_3567117937432787007_n

I think that needs no explaining really!

It has taken a while to post this but here it is finally. Last week I had literally 1 hour free.. and I took full advantage of it. I had been craving my mom’s brownies and decided it was time to take action and take control of the situation 🙂

INGREDIENTS:

in a big bowl- 375gr flour + pinch of salt + tsp baking powder

200 gr soft butter

400 gr sugar

2 large eggs

350ml milk

1 tsp vanilla extract

120 gr chocolate (I mixed dark and milk)

Oven on at 180°

Start by melting the chocolate, either on the stove (in a metal/glass bowl over a pan of boiling water, AKA bagnomaria) or in the microwave. Whatever you choose, careful NOT to BURN it!

whisk butter and sugar till fluffy. Add all the eggs, the vanilla, combine evenly and add all the lovely melted chocolate goodness. Scrape down the sides of the bowl and then alternate between milk and flour.

Get a rectangular cake tray, line it with baking paper and pour the cake mix and put in the over for 30 mins or more depending on your oven, just make sure it is fully cooked before taking it out to cool off.

And then TADAH! Add vanilla ice-cream, strawberries and you are ready to go!

I’m just gonna say.. Half of the tray disappeared within the first half hour.. and it was the doing of only one person…
